The person whom I admire the most

The person whom admire the most in my field of study

The person whom I admire the most in my field of study is my tuition aunty. She is the best mentor I have ever met. My life would have been completely different if I wouldn’t have met her.
She is our family friend and my family knows her from a long period of time.
During my kinder garden days, I was not a bright student as a result I was not able to study well. Due to this my parents were not happy with the results. Hence, my dad told her to admit me to that school in which her daughter was studying. So she made me get admitted to that school.  As I was not familiar with alphabets, I started going to her for tuitions before the school reopened. Even my two younger brothers used to come along with me. Hence, there were only three students in our tuition. Due to this she could give time for each one of us. She used to teach will full love and dedication. Due to her good teaching, I was able to study well during my examination. I used to also receive merit certificate for getting good marks. All these were the results of her good teaching. She used to ask questions till I was in forth standard. And from fifth standard I had to study by my own. If I had any doubts she used to explain it to me. The reason for this was that she wanted us to become independent in our studies. During my tenth standards board exam, she had searched for the best teacher to teach me maths and science. I used to go to the other tuition for 2 hours and again I used to come back to study in her house. It was during those days that her daughter was going to get married, but due to my exams, she had sacrificed her time and postponed all her work relating to her daughters marriage, so that she could concentrate on me during my studies.
As the years passed by, I used to feel my tuition itself as my home and I used to prefer to spend my time in tuitions rather than at home.
I used to go with her for tuitions from first standard to tenth standard. After my tenth standard I had stopped going with her for tuition. But during my second PU examination, I again started going to her house for tuition because my marks have come low. She used to not teach me, but still I used to go there for studying. The reason behind this is that, I did not have anybody to monitor me in my house. Hence, I used to get distracted and not study. Hence I used to feel like studying only in my tuition, as the environment in my tuition was completely different from that of my home. After going there I was able to study well again. Due to this I got distinction in my board exam. If I wouldn’t have had gone back again, I don’t think that I used have passed out with such good marks. I’m very thankful to her for letting me to come back again and study. It was she, who has encouraged me to pursue my MBA. It was she who has awoken my inner potential and told that you have the ability to do it. She is a biggest source of motivator to me.
In order to motivate us while studying, she used to play housie-housie game along with us. Due to this we used to get break in between our studies. She used to say that, if we finish studying early and if we are able to tell all the answers correctly, she would allow us to play the game. This motivated us to study quickly with full interest. We used to also feel relaxed and happy after playing the game. During our summer vacation, I used to prefer to go to my tuition, because we could play games and have fun talking to her.
She was more than a family to us. My parents used to allow me to stay only in her house, as they used to feel that I am in the same hands. During vacations she had also come to my granny’s house and we for happy for that and we could also have loads of fun. We also hang out and have fun. We used to also have small parties in our tuition where everybody used to get snacks and used to share with all. This taught us what sharing is, and as to how to share our things with others. Other than teaching, she also taught us the basic values of life, how to behave with others and even in the outside world. There were days when my father told my tuition aunty that the children are behaving well at home because of the values that she has taught us.
If I wouldn’t have met her, I wouldn’t have been able to know what life is all about nor would I have had studied well and got good marks. Hence, my life would have been completely different without her.
I am very thankful and grateful to god for having such a wonderful person in my life. Rarely do we get to meet such kind of beautiful people in our life. She has taught us things more than books. She has always been there for me during my times of need. I can trust her at any point of time. She has been a great source of inspiration to me and I am lucky to have her as my mentor. In this selfish world there are only few people whom you can completely trust and rely upon, and she is such kind of a person.

There is a saying that, “Everything happens for a reason” and I feel that I have met her for a reason. And I hope that each one among us must have at least one such kind of an amazing person in their life.

Pen Stand

‌Pen Stand:
‌Today I wanted to make something best, out of the waste. So I came up with the idea of making a pen stand. At first I had gathered some unwanted things that can be used to make a pen stand. Having a look at all the unwanted things, I felt that a small cylindrical tin would be a best idea for making a pen stand.
‌   After that, I thought of covering it with a color paper. But, later I realized that I wanted to make something out of the waste material. Hence, I came up with the idea of covering the tin with the help of newspapers.

‌Requirements:
‌1 small tin, newspaper, color paper or plain paper, glue, scissors.
‌Steps:
‌1. Take a tin, it can be milkmaid tin, watch box or any other kind of cylindrical tin.
‌2. Take newspaper and roll it and apply glue to it at the end. Prepare at least 10-15 rolls.
3. Stick the rolled newspaper vertically to the tin. See that you adjust the size of the rolled newspaper according to the size of the tin. Cover it fully towards the tin.
4. After it dries, paint it.
5. Make small stars on the color paper and cut it.
6. After the paint gets dried, stick the stars upon it.
To make this pen stand, I have used the theme of a night sky. You can choose your own theme and paint it accordingly.
For instance, if you are choosing the theme of an aquarium, you can paint the rolled newspaper with blue color and then draw small fishes with the help of a color paper and stick upon it.

Handmade Card

We always get confused as to what to gift for your father, brother, husband or even your friends during their birthdays or anniversary. So I had decided to make a card which is meant only for boys. It is a card which looks like a blazer.

Requirements:
Handmade paper, scissors and glue.
Steps:
1. Take a handmade paper (of the size of an A4 sheet) and place it horizontally. Draw a vertical line in between with the help of a pencil and fold both the sides of the paper in the left and right side till the line that you have drawn. Fold 1.5 cm (width)  and 5 cm (length) in a cross style from the center part of both the folded side. This will look like a blazer. You can also make small buttons with the help of the paper or even stick real buttons to one of the side of the blazer to make it look still more realistic.
2. Take another handmade paper and place it in inside the folded part. The length of the handmade paper should be 3.5 cm bigger than the folded part and the width must be equal to the folded part.
3. Cut 2 cm of the width of the extra 3.5 cm and join the edge of both the sides with the help of a glue. This will look like a collar of the shirt.
4. Draw a bow of 3 cm with another handmade paper and cut it with the help of scissors. Stick the bow to the collar that you had made earlier.
For further detailing you can make a pocket by cutting another handmade paper in a rectangular shape and by sticking it in the side of the blazer.
You can also use the color of your choice for making the card.
